The past two days say us visiting Iguazu Falls, starting from the Argentina side, and then the following day from the Brazillian side. Both sides where amazing these falls are truly breath taking, we had amazing weather and a great time by all.
We started the 2 day extravaganza with a boat ride, which takes you right into the falls, and you get wet, very very wet =) I`ve got a great video from my water camera I hopeto share around when I return. From there we start walking and catching many angles of the falls, we then headed to a walk way at the top of the falls. From there we then walked a long walkway to the top of Devils Throat (La Garganta del Diablo ), where again your promptly soaked in a refreshing wall of mist. The views from here are make the 1 km walk in blistering heat each way worth it.
The Brazil side started with a Helicopter ride to get an amazing arial view and a fun heli ride. Then onto more paranarmic views and a walk into Devils throat this time down at the bottom, again SOAKING wet =).
Did I mention I`ve reached an all time high, not only did I get a decent burn on my face and back, also now my scalp, tops of my feet and my lips, apparently the white guy from the north el burno`s.
Brazil seems to do most of its restaurants similar to Rodizio, in that its like all you can eat, or pay by weight, we had this all you can eat pizza place that was just amazing pizza, plus ice cream which really helps cool you down. I have no idea how the Brazillian people stay as slim as they do given how great and abundant the food they serve is, large portions of great food.
Last night saw us on a 10hr over night bus, which was bareable but am happy our long over night bus rides are now done with. From here the party train to Carnaval really starts, we head to Sao Paulo for 2 nights, then onto Parachee before Rio.
Weather has been unbelievable hot, low-mid 30`s, with humidy to boot, sure seems like 40`s.
The Quatro Amigo`s continue to travel and experience things in stride, having a small siesta before heading out onto the town, tonight is a drinking night where like 60 of us from the tours are expected to converge on a few drinking establishments.
Many more photo's on flickr, see the link on the right.
