The Great Migration, Quatro Amigos, Meat

I have now had a few days into the tour and thought I'd share a bit for those hungry for information. We've come to realize we are part of a great migration, not the one normally referred to of in Africa, but one of a human kind. All roads lead to Rio, Carnival. All the tour companies are maxxed out, our tour company is running two side by side, so what would normally be like 12 people, is currently 30, plus another tour operator is running one very similar so there are 40+ people going to the same accomidations, same bars, same food places around the same time, it becomes a bit of a competition between tour companies, in healthy spirits.

First few days in Buenos Aries where great, very very hot, 33-ish, tough climate change for a guy who is not partial to the heat.

Tour group is great, we have mixed well, many Aussies, many Brits, with only a few exceptions the HongKong, couple from Johannesburg and the Canadian (me). Although not everyone is native Aussie or Brit, such as the fellow from Zimbabwe.

The local region is rich in farm land, so lots of meat is to be had, Argentina Steak with the Brazillian coming soon, with this was a local trip to a meat paradise, wood fired grills with sausage, pork, beef, all in great quanities! Think of it like a bbq meat food court!

There is a group of us within the 30 that are routinely sharing double or triple of us to a room and have thus started to form a travelling group when adventuring out into the city, we've coined ourselves the Quatro Amigos! More of the adventures of the Amigos coming soon!

Some photo's added to flickr, the best posted here, the best is still to come!
