Since the last update we've since blown through Thailand, here are a few things worth sharing.
Pattaya, this previously unknown to me location is 2 hours south of Bangkok, it's the beach party goto location for Bangkok. It's very hard to describe this place without photos, a sinner sin-city than Vegas. Everything is for sale starting with Scorpions on the food carts to very much in your face "entertainment" choices.
Each go-go club seemingly brought a new experience thus each providing a unique entertainment around each dark corner, down each poorly lit alley. The go-go girls that looked like airline stewardess turned out to be a club with several yet to be seen visual escapades, usual dancing but then also a shower section (given the heat it's amazing I didn't just jump in the shower) and a final stage with whip-like noodle action (some how the noodle girl felt she needed to sneak up behind me and just gived'er it all she had on my arm, after the shocking noise and little pain I was able to decline her offer to join her on stage. Venturing further down we find a place that took a unique twist on the ping pong, you buy a bucket of ping pongs and throw them on stage as a tip. As several of these whip past my head, I contemplate wether this is the best idea that has been generated.
Pattaya seemingly did not sleep, be it 3am or 5am the hordes of people was unwavering. The beach and water wasn't anything I'd come here for, beach was fine but water a dirty colour which after being spoiled in the Philippines was hard to accept.
We did find a few non drinking things to do, a zip line course with 24 individual lines, including a repelling down part. There was also a double zip line (side/side) the honeymoon experience which they insisted Quy and I do together. Also tried for the first time a fish foot massage, this is where you put your feet in a tank and dozens of fish start eating away at your dead skin. It took all I could not to laugh and giggle, very ticklish. Won't be high on my try again list but I do think those fish sure had a feast for the 15 minutes.
The HardRock in Pattaya looks like a great place to stay, pool area looked as Vegas as you could get, 1am people still rocking hard in the bubble pool.
Had the best green curry at Baiyoke Sky hotel, had a lot of great food in Thailand, of course it did not disappoint for the curries.
Next update will be of Angkor Wat! Home on Sunday :(.
