Ok, so now that I've laid out what is suppose to be my trip, as I planned it over the past few months (read that post first), I will now comment on the ongoing violence in Kenya and my plan.
I still wish to continue with my journey, if its safe. Currently I fly to Etheopia on the 4th and my flight to Kenya is not till the 5th, so I have time still to see if the violence calms down especially the violence in the capital Nairobi. Given the violence is not directly towards tourists per say, I am optomistic violence will calm sufficiently that I can get into Nairobi and get onto my Trek, which is outside of Nairobi and not near the violence.
So, if on the 5th I am not comfortable with Kenya's situation or my tour company or the airline won't fly into Kenya, I will execute "PLAN B". Plan B, is to head further south to South Africa and visit the anmials and parks in South Africa.
One way or another due to all the violence I will strive to provide some sort of update on the blog if at all possible regularly, even if its only to post my video of the lion chasing Dan, Lion Eating Dan as he accesses YouTube to upload the video of his greate success in filming such a master piece.
The soon to be African Dapper Dan
